Electrical Equipment Operation and Usage Precautions
  • Before using electrical equipment, it must be baked at low temperature for several hours and gradually heated to 900°C, maintaining this temperature for more than 5 hours to prevent the furnace chamber from cracking due to rapid temperature changes after moisture absorption.

  • The working life of heating elements depends on their surface oxide layer. Each shutdown damages the oxide layer, so shutdowns should be avoided after startup.

  • When performing ashing tests, samples must be fully carbonized on the electrical equipment first, then placed in the ashing furnace to prevent carbon accumulation from damaging the heating elements.

  • Electrical equipment is for experimental use only and should not be used for other purposes. Samples must be placed in clean crucibles to avoid contaminating the furnace chamber.

  • After use, disconnect the power supply and allow natural cooling. For urgent use, open a small gap first to accelerate cooling. The furnace door can only be opened when the temperature drops below 200°C.

  • Keep electrical equipment away from flammable materials and ensure easy heat dissipation outside the furnace.

  • During use, the temperature of electrical equipment must not exceed the maximum temperature to avoid burning out heating elements. Pouring various liquids and molten metals into the furnace chamber is prohibited.

  • After several heating cycles, cracks may appear in the furnace's insulation material. These cracks are caused by thermal expansion and do not affect the furnace's quality.

  • When using resistance furnaces, monitor them frequently to prevent accidents caused by automatic control failure. Do not use resistance furnaces during nighttime when no one is on duty.

  • When using electrical equipment, pay attention to safety and beware of burns.
